Credits (CR)

In Forza Horizon 4, you’ll earn credits through completing races and events. The game provides plenty of opportunities to do so, meaning building up a decent garage can be done relatively quickly.

However, for the best cars and top tier upgrades, you’ll need some serious cash behind you. To do this, a lot of players decide to sell cars they no longer use. Doing so gives you a quick credit injection ahead of your next big purchase.

Forza Horizon 4 Auction House

The auction house is a great in-game feature that allows players to sell their unwanted cars when the time comes.

To get there, you’ll need to first unlock it. You can do this simply by playing through the game, it really doesn’t take very long at all.

Once you’ve unlocked the festival simply;

1. Open the main menu
2. Go to ‘Cars’
3. Go to ‘Festival’
4. Select the in-game auction house
5. Sell your/bid on cars

Boom, done! Remember though, if you’re selling your cars you’ll want to set a realistic price. Start nice and low and include a ‘buy out’ price for those gamers too impatient to bid. 

Another good idea is to include aftermarket elements with the cars you’re selling. A cool paint job or performance-boosting parts will help your ride stand out from the other listings.

How Else to Obtain Cars in Forza Horizon 4

Whilst selling your unwanted cars to raise funds when upgrading is a great way to build your collection, it's not the only way to unlock new cars. You will actually be given a lot of models as rewards for winning certain in-game races and completing certain tasks. As you progress through the campaign you’ll unlock more and more.

There are even several hidden ‘barn finds’ to be discovered throughout the map. If you’re on the hunt for them, remember that the game will guide you when looking. Simply keep an eye on your messages when a new one becomes available!
